‘Secret Agent Silver’ pants

These utterly gorgeous and extremely comfortable pants came from a company called ‘Who Made Your Pants?’. This is what it says on the ‘Who Made Your Pants? – About Us’ page

Who Made Your Pants? is a campaigning lingerie brand based in Southampton, UK. We’re about two things – amazing pants, and amazing women.

We think that every day should be a good pants day, and that there should be a little bit of gorgeous under everyone’s clothes, something just for them. So we buy fabrics that have been sold on by big underwear companies at the end of season, stop them ending up as waste and turn them into gorgeous new pants that have a great start in life. They’re designed to sit flat under clothes, have no VPL, and be comfortable and all day fabulous.

Well I can now vouch for the fact that these are amazing pants. The two styles I tried were the Cecilia pants – Secret Agent Silver and the Aimee shorts – The 80’s. I love the names of both these styles! These pants are so soft, and fit so comfortably, that they feel really good. And they don’t show through my clothes. I could get used to wearing pants like this every day.

I must confess that I don’t tend to get excited about pants or knickers as a rule. Most of my underwear drawer is full of dull pants with no lace, because I always suspect lace will be itchy. But I tried out these pants as part of the Year of Ethical Fashion (#YOEF) for 2014, and I’m so glad I did!

The Year of Ethical Fashion was launched by Pip Lincolne on her Meet Me At Mikes blog. If you want to join in, you can sign up here and there is also a facebook group.

If I’m looking for things to wear I will only:

a) Buy from ethical makers or
b) Buy second-hand or
c) Make it myself or
d) Wear things I already own or
e) Borrow or swap garments with friends

All the designs have great names – but ‘secret agent silver’ is particularly cool!

They look gorgeous – and I love that they won’t leave lines under clothes. I’m really interested in the Ethical Shopping challenge too. Though I have to draw the line at making my own clothes as I have no skills at all!

They are gorgeous. Nicer than I expected, to be honest. I hope you join in with the Year of Ethical Fashion, even if you just do a couple of blogposts. You don’t have to make your own clothes. I may try to make something simple myself, but I think it’s more likely that I’ll make a minor modification to a second-hand find.

I must invest in some decent pants, mine are so old they are practically retro. The ones you tried are very pretty

These look great, and i too avoid ace thinking that they’ll be itchy. Good to know these ones are not.
