Minibreak Mummy loves: Cleverbug

July 22, 2012

My new business cards from Cleverbug

My new business cards from Cleverbug are really swanky and I’m looking forward to handing them out at the next event I go to. The card is lovely and thick and smooth. Cleverbug say:

We print on 100% recycled stock. We have chosen a high quality, thick matte laminated paper with a luxury silk finish.

I love the fact that you have a choice of using a design from their catalogue or designing your own card from scratch, and either way you can phone them to discuss your ideas and ask for advice.

You can have photos on one or both sides of your business cards if you want, but after browsing through various options I decided to go for a more minimal look.

One side has my ‘Minibreak Mummy’ luggage tag logo (designed by my sister Alice) and the other side has my contact details* in white ‘typewriter-style font’ on a gorgeous red background. The red background was suggested by the friendly and helpful folks at Cleverbug and I think it looks great.

The prices for Cleverbug business cards are actually slightly lower than the other company I have tried, despite the fact that the quality is so good. If you want to see the quality for yourself you can order a free sample pack of 10 business cards (99p postage is payable).

So all in all a really great service and I am happy to recommend Cleverbug to any bloggers or businesses requiring new business cards, flyers or other promotional materials.

*I’ve obscured my phone number in the photos, for obvious reasons

Disclosure: Cleverbug sent me 500 business cards for the purposes of writing this review. Nevertheless, if I had not been so impressed with the business cards I would have said so. Thanks to Maggy from Red Ted Art for recommending Cleverbug to me initially.

I might try these guys for blog cards. I’ve previously used vistaprint, for many different cards in the past, and been happy with quality/ price but when I got my last lot done, they just didn’t get the colour right. My monitor is calibrated but they don’t have colour profiling and their print no longer matches what I expect. I like Moo cards but find their prices simply too high for higher volumes of cards. Good to know about these guys. If they are looking for any more blogger reviewers, do point them in my direction! 🙂

I am really impressed with the quality of the cards they sent me, and prices seem good for large quantities. You may want to talk to them about colour and see what they can do.
