I’ve joined the Pinterest Party

March 17, 2012

I’ve recently started playing with Pinterest – see pinterest.com/minibreakmummy/ for my boards. I use Pinterest as a way of bookmarking items I like the look of, so that I can then check out the original shop, blog, website or magazine that put up the original image. Not surprisingly, I’ve pinned lots of images of caravans and cross stitch!

Moors Mummy is running a weekly Pinterest Party. Each week she sets a theme and this week the theme is ‘Fabric’. The idea is that you do a search on Pinterest and find a picture you like and then link up, following these rules. I’m pleased to see that the rules include linking back to the original source, so that copyright is maintained.

So here is the picture I have found for this week’s Pinterest Party:

It is some fabric bunting that was for sale on Etsy. This particular item has been sold, but I am hoping that the person who made it will have some more for sale soon. I might also have a go at making something similar myself. It would look great strung across the front of the caravan!

Right now I’m off to have a look at what other fabric-themed images others have pinned on Pinterest.
