We love our caravan

December 12, 2011

At the weekend we popped into our caravan, which is parked on our drive, to run the heating for a few hours and check everything was ok. It still has that new caravan smell, which is very evocative of the nice holidays we had in the caravan earlier in the year.

Being able to enjoy short breaks in beautiful surroundings is great. And in the caravan we can sleep in familiar beds and eat whatever we like, whenever we like. This suits us much better than staying in a hotel, especially now that we have a toddler.

It’s fair to say that all three of us are completely smitten by our lovely caravan. So it’s really important to have cheap caravan insurance to ensure peace of mind without paying over the odds.

Our lovely caravan

We’ve already booked our pitch for a caravan holiday next Easter. You have to get in early to book a pitch in a nice location at peak times. Plus booking early gives us plenty of time to look forward to our holiday and draft a wishlist of what we’d like to do while we are there.

What do you do to remind you of enjoyable holidays? Do you already have a holiday booked for next year?

Oh that is very nice. We just bought a tent and ummed and ahhed about whether we needed insurance as for a tent we paid quiet a chunk out to ensure we had a tent good enough to make our holiday enjoyable.

I tend to book in the new year but oldest has GCSE exams this year and next so not going away – or nowhere big.

I am always taking photos for memories and collect ticket stubs etc too.

One of the reasons I set up this blog was to write about holidays and include photos. But then I got slightly sidetracked. Oh well. I still manage to do the odd blogpost about holidays.

I hope you manage to get away with your tent next year, even if it’s just somewhere fairly low key.
