Magpie Monday – a Healthy Back Bag for Hannah

November 21, 2011

You already know how much I love Healthy Back Bags – so much so that I already have four of these bags!

My youngest sister Hannah recently came to stay, and she babysat whilst my husband and I went to an Erasure concert. I knew Hannah had had some issues with her back in the past so I let her try one of my Healthy Back Bags and she was very impressed.

So I was extremely pleased to find a pristine Textured Nylon Black Medium bag for less than a tenth of the new price in the local British Heart Foundation shop. This way, Hannah could have a Healthy Back Bag of her very own. We posted it to her, and she sent me the following text message:

Wearing my healthy back back for the first time today. Am LOVING it! Is choc full of stuff but feels so light. And what’s more, it actually stays on my shoulder unlike the bag I was using before. Thanks Ruthy!…I also enjoy the fact that it’s a bit like a tardis 🙂 x

How lovely is that? It’s great to have found a charity shop bargain and to have given it away to my sister who will really appreciate it.

There are more Magpie Monday finds at the Me & My Shadow blog – check them out.

Nothing beats find something in a charity shop that you would be genuinely happy to pay full price for eh? Such a buz. Mostly I buy things that are completely superfluous 🙂

Sharing the bargain-hunting love and why not?

I’ve just hopped over to your other post because I’ve never heard of Healthy Backpacks before. They sound like a great idea.

What a lovely sis you are to send one. x
