Does November have to be a gloomy month?

November 2, 2011

Lee Rosy's Tea

It’s November. The clocks have gone back, the nights are drawing in, and it can be a time for feelings of gloom, doom and despond.

But there are some things that make life worth living, and I’ve decided to use this as the theme of a series of short audioboo recordings.

If you want to listen in, my first two recordings are as follows:

All my audioboo recordings are collected together here

Today’s audioboo was recorded just after meeting up with Amanda from theanamumdiary for tea and a chat in Lee Rosy’s Tea in Nottingham.

I’m aiming to record one audioboo per day throughout the month of November as part of NaPodPoMo (National Podcast Posting Month).

I was persuaded to join in with NaPodPoMo by geekmummy, who has written a blogpost called ‘What on earth is NaPodPoMo?!‘. Like geekmummy, I’m using the audioboo app on my iPhone to do my NaPodPoMo recordings.

You don’t have to have a theme to work to. The idea is just to experiment and learn and be creative.

I know some bloggers are doing written blogposts each day as part of NaBlogPoMo, but I find it takes much longer to write a blogpost than it does to record and post an audioboo audioblog. I’ll still be doing written blogposts for my Minibreak Mummy blog during November, but probably only at a my normal sort of frequency (about 3 posts a week).

What about you? Are you doing anything special during November? Does it have to be a gloomy month?
