Aled’s caravan

New caravan

We have a new caravan. It is an Xplore 304, which is supposed to be ‘the UK’s smallest and lightest 4 berth caravan’. It is certainly very compact and very easy to tow. Young Aled is extremely pleased. He calls it ‘Aled’s caravan’. He loves the small table and seats in the corner that can be converted to a single bed with a pull down bunk above and he will happily sit there playing for as long as we’ll let him. Every morning he says, “Can we go in Aled’s caravan?”.

I’m hoping that he will be equally happy with the caravan when we’re on site. We’ve booked short breaks at the following sites over the next few months:

  • Blackmore, near Malvern
  • Grin Low, near Buxton
  • Knaresborough (for the weekend of the Knitting & Stitching Show in Harrogate)
  • Burrs Country Park, Bury (which is a good base for visiting relatives in Greater Manchester)

I’ll let you know how we get on.
