HelloCanvas review – and a chance to show off a photo of my lovely boy!
HelloCanvas have sent me an absolutely gorgeous 20 x 28 inch canvas with a photo of my son.
The quality of the canvas is amazing – I can see every detail of the original photo (which was taken by my husband last autumn on our Canon 300D 6.3 Megapixel Digital SLR).
There was a very quick turnaround. I sent the photo as an e-mail attachment one Wednesday and received the canvas exactly one week later.
The picture went straight up on the wall above the fireplace in our living room. It looks really great and we love it.
I’ve included a couple of photos of this canvas picture above, one taken looking straight at the picture and one taken at slight angle. Of course I can’t show the detail on a jpg image on a webpage, so you will have to take my word for it that it looks fantastic.
HelloCanvas say “we can deliver top quality for the lowest prices” and the price quoted on the HelloCanvas website for a 20 x 28 inch canvas like ours is £39 including postage and packing. This is about a third cheaper than the price quoted by another big company I looked into. HelloCanvas also do a much wider range of sizes than the other company I looked at.
If you prefer a framed photo, HelloCanvas also sell what they call ‘floating frames’ designed to sit over the top of the canvas. Personally, I like the fact that I can see the photo wrapped round the side of this canvas, but I can see that some photos might look good with a frame.
So I am extremely impressed with HelloCanvas. The quality is top notch, the service is quick and the price is good too. I am planning to buy more canvas photos from them, for ourselves and to give as gifts. It is great to get nice photos up on the wall where people can see them instead of only viewing them on computer screens.
Disclosure: HelloCanvas sent me this canvas free of charge for the purposes of this review. All reviews on this blog are completely honest and if I hadn’t been so impressed with this item I would have said so.
